Q&A Series: Laser Eye Surgery Prices

As with any form of private medical treatment, it is imperative that your treatment is in the hands of someone you can trust and rely upon. In this edition of our Q&A series, we’ll be covering some of our frequently asked questions regarding Laser Eye Surgery Prices and what to expect when you visit LaserVision.

Below are some of the most common enquiries we receive in relation to payment at our clinics:

Can I spread the cost?

Normally yes.

Finance options vary from location to location, and we will be pleased to discuss options available to you. Our Guildford, Portsmouth, Woking and Nottingham hospital locations all offer payment plans to our patients.

We offer 12 months interest free payment at most of our hospitals, however please be sure to enquire with your dedicated location prior to finalising any treatments.

Do LV offer finance for treatment?

Normally yes.

As above, finance options vary from location to location, and we will be pleased to discuss options available to you. As previously mentioned, our Guildford, Portsmouth, Woking and Nottingham hospital locations all offer payment plans to our patients.

Does LV offer deals on laser eye surgery?

At LaserVision we believe in offering the highest quality services and clinical outcomes at a great value for money. For some treatments we offer upgrade packages that can reduce the total cost for patients that require multiple treatments or consultations. Enquire with us to see if you would be eligible for one of our upgrade packages.

How much is laser eye surgery?

Prices vary depending upon the location and treatment required, but generally prices start at £1,950 per eye.

Why is laser eye surgery so expensive?

The costs of providing high quality laser surgery in a professional hospital environment, using highly skilled corneal surgeons and very advanced laser equipment is significant.

Eye surgery is typically a once in a lifetime event and we are aware that patients have a choice. We aim to provide the very highest clinical outcomes and quality of experience for our patients and believe we have positioned ourselves very competitively in the marketplace.

If treatment is cheaper elsewhere, why should I choose LaserVision?

There are 3 main criteria worth checking when comparing Laservision to others:

  1. We only employ highly expert corneal surgeons, and from first consultation to patient discharge, our patients will see the same expert consultant throughout.
  1. Our Consultants choose their own laser equipment which enables them to achieve the highest possible visual outcomes for patients, and with minimum discomfort.
  1. We will only provide our services in professional private hospitals with highest standard of safety and comfort.
