Choosing the right vision correction clinic for your surgery is paramount. This is a life changing procedure after all, and you need to have complete trust in your surgeon and care team of professionals.

LaserVision are unique in the fact that all of our clinics are hospital based and governed by leading NHS and Nuffield hospitals so you can have full trust in our service. We also personalise all the treatments listed below to get the best possible outcome for you and your eyes.

Blade Free IntraLASIK™

The IntraLase Method has been used successfully on millions of eyes and we trust this advanced technology to deliver exceptional results.

More than 15 million LASIK procedures have been performed worldwide, and it has now become the most commonly performed procedure in the world.

The LASEK procedure involves preserving the extremely thin epithelial layer by lifting it from the eye’s surface before laser energy is applied for reshaping.

SupraLASE™ is a surface laser procedure in which the eye is treated from beginning to end with lasers, this treatment is a ‘non touch‘ treatment.

ReLEx SMILE(Small Incision Lenticule Extraction) is a ground-breaking new technique that  take laser vision correction for short-sight beyond LASIK.

The IntraLase Method has been used successfully on millions of eyes and we trust this advanced technology to deliver exceptional results.

Blended Vision

Blended Vision is an advanced method for treating patients with presbyopia, offering the opportunity to achieve freedom from glasses.

Contact Lens

We have a range of contact lens options available that our consultants can expertly guide you through the best option for you.

Cross-linking is not a new technique and has long been used as a medical interventional technique in other areas such as dentistry.

Corneal Segments

Corneal segments are clear small, semicircular plastic rings of various thicknesses, which are inserted within the cornea at its outer edges.

Ferrara Rings

The Ferrara ring is a surgical alternative to at least delay, if not eliminate, the need of lamellar or penetrating keratoplasty.

Intacs corneal inserts or implants are a minimally invasive surgical option used primarily for the treatment of Keratoconus.

Advanced Topographic Guided Laser Treatment is one of the most precise methods of reducing higher order aberrations in patients with Keratoconus.

Standard IOL

A standard IOL is an outstanding lens and will give you excellent vision at one distance (near, mid-range/computer or distance).

Toric IOL

Toric intraocular lenses are specialised monofocal lenses and are often the best option for people with astigmatism.

Multi Focal IOL

Multi-focal intraocular lenses have special features that give you good near, intermediate and distance vision-all in one lens.

Accommodative IOL

Accommodative intraocular lenses can move in response to your eye muscles, providing excellent distance and intermediate vision and functional near vision.

With IOL monovision, one eye receives a lens for distance vision, while the other receives a lens for near vision.

IC-8™ Lens

The IC-8 lens is designed to give you excellent image quality at all distances, so you can drive, read the newspaper and work on your computer without glasses.

Corneal Endothelial Transplant (DSAEK)

With a DSAEK operation, the inner lining is replaced, leaving the outer layers of the cornea untouched.

Photo-Therapeutic Keratectomy (PTK)

Similar to PRK, this type of eye surgery does not include vision correction. It is done for therapeutic reasons, to correct documented medical eye issues.

Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)

This is a particularly good choice for patients whom have lost the ability to accommodate the need for glasses to read as well as see in the distance.

Phakic Lens

If you are less than 40 years of age and have a very high prescription, then the use of an additional lens can be a very good alternative to LASIK.

We only use the best.

LaserVision use highly advanced technology with industry recognised lasers that are at the forefront of the field. All treatments include “wavefront” as standard, thus offering you a treatment that is as individual as your eyes. Femtosecond technology is used to perform ‘blade-free’ surgery and the latest 5th generation Intralase is used as it is the recognised gold standard in this sector.

Whilst laser eye surgery is the best procedure for many people, those with extremes of near and far sightedness may find that Implantable Contact Lenses (ICL) or Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) are more suitable options.

Vision matters. At LaserVision, our focus is you.
