Our Treatments

Choosing the right vision correction clinic for your surgery is paramount. This is a life changing procedure after all, and you need to have complete trust in your surgeon and care team of professionals.

LaserVision are unique in the fact that all of our clinics are hospital based and governed by leading NHS and Private hospitals so you can have full trust in our service. We also personalise all the treatments listed below to get the best possible outcome for you and your eyes.

LASIK

LASIK is the most common form of elective vision correction surgery in the world and is able to treat myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism.

LASEK

LASEK involves preserving the extremely thin epithelial layer by lifting it from the eye’s surface before laser energy is applied for reshaping.

SupraLASE™

SupraLASE™ is a surface laser procedure in which the eye is treated withtrans-epithelial laser, ensuring a ‘non-touch‘ treatment experience.

SMILE

SMILE is the latest form of laser vision correction surgery which avoids the creation of a flap during treatment.

Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE)

A clinically proven and permanent form of vision correction surgery using premium lens technology to correct all forms of refractive errors including myopia, hyperopia, presbyopia and astigmatism.

Implantable Contact Lens

Suitable for younger patients with high prescriptions, the Implantable Contact Lens is a reversible additive vision correction procedure, providing a treatment alternative where LASIk is unable to be used.

Standard IOL

A standard IOL is an outstanding lens and will give you excellent vision at one distance (near, mid-range/computer or distance).

Toric IOL

Toric intraocular lenses are specialised monofocal lenses and are often the best option for people with astigmatism.

Multi Focal IOL

Multi-focal intraocular lenses have special features that give you good near, intermediate and distance vision-all in one lens.

Accommodative IOL

Accommodative intraocular lenses can move in response to your eye muscles, providing excellent distance and intermediate vision and functional near vision.

Monovision

With IOL monovision, one eye receives a lens for distance vision, while the other receives a lens for near vision.

IC-8™ Lens

The IC-8 lens is designed to give you excellent image quality at all distances, so you can drive, read the newspaper and work on your computer without glasses.

KAMRA™ Corneal Inlay

The KAMRA™ Corneal Inlay is a very small corneal implant that restores near sight, providing a welcome alternative to reading glasses for patients with presbyopia

Blended Vision

Blended Vision is an advanced laser ablation profile that increases depth of focus for treating patients with presbyopia, offering the opportunity to achieve freedom from glasses.

Corneal Collagen Cross Linking

Corneal Collagen Cross-Linking is used to stabilise progressive keratoconus and prevent any further worsening of vision. It is often combined with other techniques to improve the vision for patients with keratoconus.

Corneal Segments

Corneal segments are clear small, semicircular plastic rings of various thicknesses, which are inserted within the cornea at its outer edges.

Topography Guided Laser Surgery

The latest excimer lasers can now provide advanced customised topographic guided ablation profiles to reduce higher order aberrations in patients with keratoconus.

Corneal Transplantation

In very advanced keratoconus, there always remains the option of performing a partial thickness or full thickness corneal transplant with the accuracy of femtosecond laser technology.

Corneal Endothelial Transplant (DSAEK)

DSAEK surgery is a very fast and reliable method of partial corneal transplantation for patients with endothelial disease.

DMEK

DMEK surgery involves replacing the innermost layer of the cornea with the pure Descemet’s and Endothelium only, realising the best potential vision with the lowest risk of rejection.

Technology

We only use the best.

LaserVision use highly advanced technology with industry recognised lasers that are at the forefront of the field. All treatments include “wavefront” as standard, thus offering you a treatment that is as individual as your eyes. Femtosecond technology is used to perform ‘blade-free’ surgery and the latest 5th generation Intralase is used as it is the recognised gold standard in this sector.

Whilst laser eye surgery is the best procedure for many people, those with extremes of near and far sightedness may find that Implantable Contact Lenses (ICL) or Refractive Lens Exchange (RLE) are more suitable options.

Vision matters. At LaserVision, our focus is you.
